Freeze row in Excel 2010

How to freeze row in Excel. Select row in your table. To activate freeze click View then Freeze Panes then Freeze Panes. The result: You can scroll down the list and row number 3 and 4 stay frozen. Note: to unfreeze rows: click View then Freeze Panes then Unfreeze Panes. Freeze options are Freeze Panes: Keep rows and columns visible while the rest of the worksheet scrolls and Freeze Top Row: Keep the top row visible while scrolling through the rest of the worksheet.

Step 1: Select row in your table.


Step 2: To activate freeze click View > Freeze Panes Freeze Panes.


Result: You can scroll down the list and row number 3 and 4 stay frozen. 


Unfreeze rows: click View > Freeze Panes > Unfreeze Panes.


Freeze options:
Freeze Panes: Keep rows and columns visible while the rest of the worksheet scrolls.
Freeze Top Row: Keep the top row visible while scrolling through the rest of the worksheet.
